May 2017: John Zachary has been promoted to Associate Wealth Advisor at Pathfinder Wealth Consulting. A true “Wilmingtonian,” John grew up here with his family. He graduated from UNCW in 2009 with a BS in Finance and Business Management. As he began his career at Pathfinder upon graduation, he was hired as a Paraplanner and assisted with the financial planning process. He soon took on the Financial Analyst role as well and has been assisting both advisors for planning and investment needs ever since. He began working on his CFP in 2011, which is the highest degree of excellence for financial planning professionals. John obtained his certification and became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ in 2012. At this time, he stepped into his most recent role, Director of Financial Planning Services. John is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and, most recently, a graduate of the 2017 Class of Leadership Wilmington, a program through the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce. Personally, he is a member of the Surfrider Foundation and Appalachian Trail Conservancy.
