Pathfinder Wealth Consulting is pleased to announce the promotion of Ross Allen, CFP®, EA, ATFA to Associate Wealth Advisor at the firm.
Ross joined Pathfinder in September 2021 and has spent the past year demonstrating a high level of industry expertise, a deep commitment to Pathfinder values, and a passion for helping people along their financial journey. This promotion will make Ross the fourth advisor of the growing firm.
“As the Pathfinder community continues to grow, we understand that there is a need for a new generation of financial advisors,” said Pathfinder CEO & Wealth Advisor, Jason Wheeler. “Those advisors who ‘speak the language’ of the younger generation, but also possess the expertise to handle intricate financial planning cases and the ability to provide sound advice on a wide variety of financial planning issues. We believe that Ross fits this balance perfectly and will bring a great deal of value to our clients.”
Ross has been in the financial services industry since 2007, including positions at State Employees Credit Union and a financial planning firm in Tampa, Florida. He earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in 2013. Having prepared tax returns for several years, Ross particularly enjoys and appreciates the value that can be found in long-term tax planning and the lasting impacts it can have on increasing wealth. With this special interest and commitment to continued learning, he became an Enrolled Agent in 2017.
“Ross was the perfect fit, right from the beginning,” said Pathfinder Partner & Wealth Advisor, John Zachary. “He came to us with almost 15 years of industry experience and a lot of valuable expertise to add to our team. Ross has all the values of a person we would want to serve our clients: he loves helping people and he has a genuine passion for what we do.”
Outside of work, Ross and his wife, Mary Beth, enjoy traveling and playing golf together. Excited to establish roots in the Cape Fear Region, Ross is a frequent volunteer with The First Tee of Greater Wilmington. He and Mary Beth live in Leland, with their dog, Oscar.
