Katie joined Pathfinder Wealth Consulting in 2018 as our marketing director, where she oversees the firm’s marketing strategy and client communications. She is enthusiastic about contributing to the life and growth of the firm through creative outlets and is passionate about providing superior client experiences.

Katie has always been drawn to communicating with diverse audiences and presenting ideas in unique and insightful ways. Following multiple journalism internships throughout high school and college, Katie’s professional career took root at a creative marketing firm in Portland, Oregon. Over the next few years, she developed a specialty in the financial industry, including positions at Morgan Stanley and an institutional money manager in Durham, NC.

Katie is a native of western North Carolina and graduated with honors from Appalachian State University with a BS in psychology (2009) and an MBA (2010). A life-long writer, Katie is also a certified Wild Writing teacher and hosts writing circles and retreats through Wild Rosemary Collective. In her free time, she loves exploring new trails, spending time at her cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains, and spoiling her rescue pup, Ridley.
